Modern Services at St. Martin's

Worship is led by a live band at all our modern services, with some combination of acoustic/electric/bass guitar, keys, and drums. We sing songs from Bethel, Chris Tomlin, Elevation Worship, Hillsong, Housefires, Jesus Culture, Matt Redman, New Wine, Passion, Rend Collective, Soul Survivor, as well as occasional classic hymns and songs. We aim to make space for the Spirit to move, while keeping things as accessible as they can be. You can raise your hands or keep them in your pockets, we won't judge by outward appearance!

Everything you need, including songs, prayers and the bible reading will be projected on a big screen so you won't get lost. The songs are easy to pick up, and you're welcome to sit or stand as you feel. We take a collection, but there's no compulsion for visitors to give! After the service we hang around for tea/coffee, and you're welcome to ask any questions you may have.

Modern Worship Service

We get together to worship, pray, read the bible, listen to a talk and support each other as a family. There's Sunday Club and Communion on 4th Sundays.

Shorter Modern Worship Service

On the third Sunday we trim everything down to make it shorter and more accessible. There's no Sunday Club to allow everyone to participate in the service.

Worship @6

An extended time of worship followed by a talk and a chance to be prayed for. Finishes at 7.30pm with an opportunity for fellowship and coffee.

There are currently no modern services at St. Martin's on 2nd Sundays as we're starting a new thing at Crossgates. Please visit our Crossgates page for details of this exciting project.
There are no modern services on 5th Sundays as St. Martin's joins with the two St. John's for a joint service.
